Details

As part of the terms of your equity loan, paying by Direct Debit is also a requirement.

Monthly payments

You’ll need to pay:

  • £1 monthly management fee
  • monthly interest payments which start from year 6
  • administration fees for changes you make to your equity loan including the costs of any valuations required
  • any late payment fees

Set up a Direct Debit

You’ll need to:

  • download the Direct Debit form
  • complete and sign it
  • return it to us by post or email

Paying by Direct Debit is simple, convenient, safe and secure. The direct debit guarantee protects you against any incorrect payments and ensures that you get your money back if a mistake is made.

Changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit

We will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.

If we or your building society make an error on your payments

You are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society.

If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when we ask you to.

If you need to cancel your Direct Debit

You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required.
