Remortgaging
It is a condition of the HomeBuy Direct (HBD) that the purchaser must not remortgage their property without the approval of the Homes and Communities Agency.
Remortgaging is defined as any change in lender or mortgage product from an existing lender that ranks ahead of the HCA on the HBD or LWI property. Please note, if you are looking to take out additional borrowing there is a different procedure to follow.
